ESO Grinding Spots

The Elder Scrolls Online is no exception when it comes to level up, there's only so many quests one can complete before tabbing out and doing the expected: google where the grinding spots are.

So I'll save you some time and tell you what I learned ingame. Currently, there are 2 options, both scale with level, both have their downsides, here it goes:

Cyrodiil delves:

Any Cyrodiil delve is good exp. Cyrodiil scales you to high vet level so you don't ever need to change spot, just grind to your heart's desire. If you're grinding champion levels, this is also the place to be if you don't have Orsinium.

Upsides:

  • Exp or Champ grind all-in-one.
  • Eternal spot, no need to change if you level up.
  • Included in base game, no DLCs required.

Downsides:

  • May be heavily camped.
  • You will have to pvp occasionally.

The most popular delve in Cyrodiil is Cracked Wood Cave:

But in fact, any Cyrodiil delve with a good spot should do the trick, and a more secretive one may be the best option.

Old Orsinium:

If you have the Orsinium DLC you have access to what is, in my opinion, the best grinding spot of all. Deep within Orc territory, lies a dungeon filled with terror and pain, a place where mobs will fall under your might, preferably, while using experience potions, cause this place is awesome!
The area is level scaled, so you don't have to worry about changing spots, just get inside, start killing and watch your exp bar jump!
Also, the second level of the dungeon, where the top exp lives (and where mobs live in terror of you showing up and bringing them pain), is a perfect circle, making it really easy to make the perfect exp path.

Upsides:

  • Exp or Champ grind all-in-one.
  • Eternal spot, no need to change if you level up.
  • Some rare drops are quite valuable.

Downsides:

  • May be heavily camped.
  • Requires Orsinium DLC.

Here is a map to help you find Old Orsinium:

And this is all for now, as soon as I have any more interesting grind spots I will let you know. Feel free to tell us about your experience in the comments, or about any awesome grinding spots you know about. Enjoy!

Hey, I could add some other grinding spots. They aren't as good because they don't scale but would provide other options when these are busy :)
